Reboot: The Crimson Binome - ReBoot was a Saturday morning Cartoon in the early nineties, set inside a computer and following the adventures of the "people" who lived there (similar to the better-known Disney movie Tron). In this episode, the city of Mainframe is attacked by thieving data pirates. While the unfamiliar setting and characters of the cartoon could be distracting to some students, the episode may be used to introduce a discussion of ethical business practices and financial concepts such as diversification, amortization, and more. PLEASE NOTE: This episode (never released on video or DVD) appears on YouTube in three 10-minute segments. Most of the economic vocabulary occurs in part three. ReBoot is a product of Canadian digital production company Mainframe Entertainment, Inc., and is likely posted on YouTube without permission - speaking of ethical business practies!
