The Teachers Academy is a financial education training initiative for high school teachers developed by Ohio Treasurer Richard Cordray, the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Council on Economic Education. Primarily intended for Social Studies teachers, this two-day event provides educators with the resources they need to teach personal finance education courses with an emphasis on decision making, budgets, credit, careers, insurance and consumer protection. Attendees will be eligible for a certificate for 12 contact hours. Attendees registering for the additional three days extended course will be eligible for two-semester hours of graduate credit, tuition cost approximately $326. To register, please click here.
